We are now a family owned company

Over the years our largest complaint from our customers has been that our completion promises them quality and never carrys threw or do not complete their projects. We believe in honesty and loyalty to our customers and most of time develop a personal relationship with them. Our first obligation & dedication is to our lord & savior Jesus Christ and to love our neighbor as our selves and no one likes to be taking advantage of or lied too: we work hard four our families and our customers and their families and know everyone works hard for what they are looking to get and recieve on their project, so we make sure quality and priority comes first on any project, so we make sure quality and priority comes first on any project we treat our projects as is they were our own home.

History of James Perry Construction & Excavating

Welcome, My name is James Perry and all my life, I have been involved with the construction and excavating industry. My father owned an excavation company from 1950 – 1978 and as a young child myself and my brothers and mother were involved in helping dad on the projects and at the time we not have the modern equipment and technology that we have today. I have learned a lot over the years and being taught the old school way. I graduated high school in 1981 and started working working to develop my skills as a carpenter and excavating on a small scale. The 1982 Worlds Fair was my first encounter with the production framing, and after this I was hired as a carpenters helper by a custom home builder (Max Burkhaulter). He was hardcore however between him and his crew I worked my way up quickly, I was egar to learn and I would and I would do my labor end of the job of stocking material, so that I could be right into the framing part of the project and learn as  mush as I could by doing so at the age of 22, I was promoted to lead carpenter, following through with hard work I had proven myself and I was promoted to a lead supervisor and continued on many projects threw out the Knoxville area.

In the late 80’s I had the desire to venture out on my own and start what is now James Perry Construction, long days, hard work and being faithful to myself and my crew our business grew. Of learning more and more and building a lot of homes and assisted on commercial projects from grading, to storm drainage, to interior framing and interior finish to exterior finish.

We are now a family owned company.
